Our Achievements

  • WHO WE ARE

SterileLife is a photocatalytic TiO2 that effectively eradicates micro-organisms and organic compounds, bacteria, viruses, chemical pollutants and odors through a simple application. Through a photocatalytic reaction (using sunlight or daylight) with theTiO2 Nanotechnology, the SterileLife coating removes these types of contaminants by breaking them down into to harmless H2O or CO2 by-products without any other waste. This process makes the SterileLife virtually self-cleaning. It is odorless, colorless, and safe to use in spray on applications

Originally it was developed for use in hospitals and medical facilities, to fill need for a robust a microbial disinfectant, SterileLife has expanded and is available for use in both the commercial and consumer settings.

  • STERILELIFE

The SterileLife coating is an antimicrobial solution which can be applied with a hand held spray gun for large commercial applications, or a small non-aerosol spray bottle for consumer uses (refer to Appendix A for Material Safety Data Sheet). In general, antimicrobial agents are utilized to kill microorganisms or inhibits their growth, such as bacteria. Antimicrobial agents may be used for a variety of applications, including, medicinal uses, antibiotics, antiseptics, disinfectants and similar applications. The SterileLife coating is sprayed or applied onto any surface which may have harmful bacteria from human contact, such as, desks, tables, keyboards, fixtures, door knobs and others. SterileLife has consumer and commercial applications, such as, residential homes, offices, janitorial, hospitals and restaurants.

  • LABORATORY TESTING

Sterilelife sample sent to international certified materials laboratory, which is located in California. We requested specific material test to be performed related to the chemical and physical properties of the Sterilelife sample, which included moister, density, metals content and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The following test results were reported by material laboratory using the approved US EPA lab methods:

Moisture/Water Content % (Method EPA CLP)

The moisture content of the sample was tested and calculated to be 99.98% of the sample.

    Specific Gravity (Method ASTM D1475)

The specific gravity of the sample was tested and calculated to be 1.00, which is essentially the density of water (8.34 lb/gal).

    California Heavy Metals (CAM-17)

As per EPA Method 6020, the SterileLife sample does not contain any trace of regulated heavy metals. The results display only a small amount of copper (0.008 mg/kg) found in the duplicate sample, but not in the original sample. This could be a result of contamination, since it is only found in the duplicate and not in the original.

    Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)

Per the lab’s instruction, VOC testing was performed using an in- house method, as opposed to the EPA Method 8260B. The lab opted to use the in-house method because the EPA method is only used when the sample matrix is wastewater or soil. The results are non-detect for

  • REGULATORY ANALYSIS

VOCs are generally emitted from specific solvents or coatings, and contribute to the formation of ozone (O3) by reacting with nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the atmosphere. The U.S. EPA and individual states regulate VOC containing products that may be sold, distributed or utilized in consumer and commercial applications, such as architectural coatings, spray paint, cleaning solvents and other materials.

According to Title 40 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) Section §59.202, a consumer product is defined as any household or institutional product (including paints, coatings, and solvents), or substance, or article (including any container or packaging) held by any person, the use, consumption, storage, disposal, destruction, or decomposition of which may result in the release of VOC.
