The power of silver is achieved by interaction with the cell structure of microbial entities by disrupting the DNA interaction with cell enzymes, denying cell growth, expansion and mutation. In order for silver to work effectively, it must be in the form of ionize particles. The SterileLife coating formula uses silver ion Nano particles to work in tandem with the titanium dioxide (TiO2) to eradicate environmental bacteria, fungus, and molds in an environmentally friendly way.

Titanium Dioxide (TIO2)

Titanium dioxide is a commonly available mineral available from a variety of ores available on the planet. Titanium dioxide is safe and is found in many different products such as Sunscreen food coloring and toothpaste. Nanotechnology processes were developed to create nanoparticles for use as antimicrobial in SterileLife coatings.

How to use SterileLife?

SterileLife

SterileLife requires minimal surface preparation and is applied through a backpack spray unit that that has a .03 to .05mm spray tip.
The SterileLife coating is applied directly without any thinning required.
Spray painting best practices should be followed with proper protective clothing, respiratory and eye protection.
When the SterileLife coating is applied, the area should be well lighted, clean, dry, and well ventilated.

Surface preparation

Prior to application the surface substrate must be clean and smooth, free of any oils, greases or other contaminants that will keep the SterileLife coating from sticking to the substrate.The surface substrate should be wiped down using clean lint free cloths such as microfiber towels.

Application

  • Prior to application, SterileLife must be well mixed to assure the TiO2 Photocatalytic is assimilated throughout the solution.
  • When applying SterileLife, keep the spray tip 10 inches (25cm) from the substrate surface and applied in smooth linear strokes.
  • Drying time is 5 minutes.
  • If the spray area has a void of material it can be re-applied immediately.
